Laura has been making pots for about 40 years. She is trained as an Anthropological Linguist (PhD, The American University 1988), but pottery is what she does.
She grew up on Hidden Springs Farm where she now lives with her husband Charlie. She has three grown children, Shep, Tote and Jenny, two daughters-in-law, Tara and Kathy, and five grandchildren, Morgan, Nate, Ben, Tobey and Laura.
In 2003 I started finding other artists in Great Falls. In 2013, Great Falls Studios has 113 members. Its signature event is the Annual Great Falls Studios Tour in October. This year it is the 19th and 20th, from 10 am to 5 pm, rain or shine.read more
